This guide will show you how to make sure the time and date on your WiFi bird box camera are correct using both a smartphone, tablet and computer. If you are finding that you are unable to play back recordings from your camera this will hopefully solve the problem.

Before You Begin

  • Make sure that your camera is actually set to record. Have a look at this guide if you are not sure whether you have already set your camera up in that fashion.

Let's Get Started

ICSee Pro on Phone or Tablet

First open ICSee Pro and load the live view of your camera. Press the cog icon in the top right corner and then go to General About Device.

Click on the section highlighted above and it will set the time on your camera to match your phone or tablet. This will likely not make old recordings visible but new recordings made from this point on will be saved correctly.

CMS5 on a PC

Open CMS5 and click on Device Config. Select your camera from the list on the left and you will see System Time at the top of the page. You will need to manually set the time and date unfortunately if doing so through a PC. Update the settings and press Apply.
